You'll glad you got this pistol. Mine has just about the nicest trigger of all my 3rd generation pistols. It will cheerfully feed any ammo, too.

Nice looking piece, for sure. :) I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Sure wish I could find one. Been looking at a 910. Different animal, for sure, but if I could get the price right, I think I'd be happy, too. Please be sure and give us a range report. I figure it'll get an A+, but it always helps to know. I agree, that 908 is just as fine as a LS without the high price. Plus, you don't have to defend your masculinity, not that it would matter anyway. I know I've never thought anything, but respect for anyone I've ever seen with a LS, male or female. :)

Congrats on your find!...I too have been on the hunt for a 3913 for the last several months. I stumbled on a like new 908 with original box and papers. It's great having a cc gun that is accurate and fun at the range. I'm sure you'll enjoy yours just a much as I do mine....(I'm still looking for that 3913, though)

Hi guys, I picked up a 908s NIB about 8 months ago, like you wanted a 3913, but after research felt I'd be as happy with the 908s at 2/3 the price. I love this gun, it's not my CZ 75 but this I can conceal if I wanted to. Feels great, feeds great, and after many range trips I'm getting pretty damn accurate. But still, I felt it was a bit small in my hand, so I went in search of a 910s. Found one NIB 2+ months ago, purchased that and designated the 908s to my wife. She's getting used to it but still likes her Bersa 380 better. I shoot both 9's when we go to the range and love them both. Congrads on your purchase and I know you'll love it.

I might of over paid a bit for mine.It was $450 with box extra mag and papers.I also have one more mag on the way.

Don't do what I did with my 908S. I traded it away and wish I still had it. For some reason, the 908 and 3913 are hard to find in my area.

Hey, Two Guns, IMO you didn't pay too much. I paid 464 for the 908s & 414 for the 910s, both acquired thru gunbroker.com, plus 35ea for FFL transfer. no tax though. I also got 2 extra mags for the 908s at midway for 33ea, havn't bought any extra yet for the 910s. Enjoy shooting

Well I took my 908S out today and it shoots very tight groups out at 20 yards. It was shooting about 2 inches low with all ammo. There were no FTF or FTE and it handles real nice.It draws quite fast out of my Milt Sparks Versa Max II and the reloads were also quick. Now that I have quite a few rounds through it with no failures I am ready to carry it as my main CCW. This gun has really grown on me fast.

Seems like the 908 series is the Chevy Biscayne of the Smith and Wesson line. Nothing fancy, just a good reliable pistol that gets the job done. Enjoy!
