It's a 10-5, and I think it was made in 1969
Pretty sure these are not the right grips. It came with some chewed up rubber grips and I had these on a Model of 1905 4th change and I don't think they really went with that gun either.
Anyway, someday I'll find the right grips and put them on, but in the meanwhile, I'm just going to enjoy it as is.

It's a 10-5 . . . Pretty sure these are not the right grips.
Correct. Those are from a K frame in the 1946-1953 period.

Here are a couple pictures of what you would be looking for to be correct on your Model 10-5. Note the rounded bottom. These are called PC Magna stocks and as late as your revolver is there would be no diamond at the screw location.

That should have the P C Magnas (Plain Clothes). There is an ad in Classifieds that has 2 sets of these offered. K Frame PC Grips FS

I won a 10-5 on G.B. around 5 years ago. Good price. I couldn't believe how well I shot it. Of course, had to change the stocks. It will never be a beauty queen, but I like it! Bob

Looks good to me.
I like those T-grip things

The M10 2" RB was my very first carry piece back in 1979 or 1980. Unfortunately I sold it to buy a Model 60. Not sorry I bought the M60 - just sorry I got rid of it.

I look at them from time to time but for the condition I desire I am not willing to pay what they are asking as I no longer use Revolvers for SD/HD purposes. It would just be another Range gun - got more than enough of them now.
