I had a Model 15-2 on layaway at the LGS. I was waiting to pick it up, because it was on the 30 day quarantine as a used gun that came in as a trade. It was $399 before tax.
This gun was the subject of this thread:

Anyway, I got it home and cleaned it up. It has normal wear, but looks fine to me. Mechanically, it is excellent. I can't wait to get it to the range.
The stocks are just some incorrect non-PC Magnas that have the serial number for a different gun. I am looking to get a set of Ahrends cocobolo or cordia smooth tactical grips for this gun. I'd go for diamond Targets, but the don't fit my very small hands. In the meantime, it will be wearing Pachmayr Gripper Professionals. I'm not a fan of rubber grips, but those work very well for me at the range.
I know that the 15-2s were produced from 1962-1967. Can anyone help me with a more precise date? The serial number of the gun is K769906. Thanks.
