My First SS Revolver, Model 66

a nice 4" 66 is my grail revolver ... Ill just keep hunting for one that isn't priced too high, as many seem to be asking for the moon...

That's a beautiful 686 rubiranch. I still want to get a 686 and a 60. Then I need my 29-2, 6-1/2" , blued...and I'm done. lol

Here's my 6.5" 1962 29-2. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. I need to buy some ammo and find some time.

Wow - Gratz on that 29-2, cased and everything. In early August there is a sale that's advertising a 686. I don't know if its a no dash. It's a 6 shot. Serial number starts with BSR as far as I can tell. Maybe I'll get lucky! lol

My 6" 686 is my favorite pistol to shoot.

My first S&W revolver was a 4" 66-2. They are great guns. Welcome to the club!

My LGS has this model 60 no dash for $500. I offered them $420 and they countered with $485 out the door. I thanked them for showing me the gun and said we were too far away. Picture is bad but it didn't have the original grips and carried a bit. I think I did the right thing.
