I picked up another 5” 610 no dash, so now I’m up to one 6.5” and two 5” models. I just really like the 10mm revolvers and feel very confident that the no dash variant will only increase in value. I’m going to make a range trip tomorrow and will post a range report

Nice 610's! I really want a 5" to go with my 3 7/8".

Close ship dates

I just got the ship date request back from Dr. Jinks on my latest 610 acquisition. It turns out that all three of my 610’s shipped in April 1990, despite the earliest and latest s/n’s being nearly 4200 apart…interesting.

Seeing all these beautiful 610's is making me want to get one now lol. Congrats on the nice pick up. Curious on the range report as well.

It took me two years to round up my vast collection!:D One of the most difficult guns (610-2) for me to find, & complete the Lew Horton quartet of 3" N frame revolvers.

She's mine o mine!;)

I usually shoot it with my 646s!

That 3 inch 610-2 is a Beauty man o man.

Very sweet trio.

I only have the 3", 5" and 6 1/2" Model 610s plus the 310NG. I need to stumble onto a nice 4" one day

Though I will confess that I LOVE shooting the longer one with 10MM Magnum ammunition

Having 5 and 6.5 inch 610s, I am content with my small herd.

Range report!

Ok, I finally made it to the range today and took all the boys out to play. I was out in Denver most of last week (where the latest 610 resided), picked it up at my FFL on Friday, then slept off my jet lag and was just generally lazy over the weekend. I tried Monday and Tuesday, but traffic held me up and my range takes the last shooter at 1700. Left work a half hour earlier today and got there just in time to get in.

The newest 5” definitely has a stiffer trigger than the other 5” and the 6.5”, but it’s smooth. I shot 36 rounds with the new one, 60 with the other 5”, and 95 with the 6.5” (I had one Russkie primer that just wouldn’t ignite, no matter how many times I hit it). I was actually more accurate with the new 5”, even though the trigger is noticeably stiffer than the other 5”. Of course I’m way more accurate with the 6.5”; I’ve been shooting it for almost 15 years and probably have close to two thousand rounds through it, if not more. It’s just way more pleasant to shoot too, with that extra 1.5” of barrel and lug to tame the recoil.

All three targets are at 30 feet and shot double action. First target is the new 5”, second is the other 5”, then the 6.5” brings up the rear. I tried like heck to knock out that last little bit of the red bullseye on the 6.5” target, but it just wasn’t having it!
