My J, K, & L frames

Model 60-4
I'm fond of all the frame sizes mentioned, but the only Model 60 I own is a Model 60-4 .38 Special.

Back when I bought this gun (it came with the wide grooved Target Trigger), you could still call Smith & Wesson and order accessories, so I ordered a wide smooth Combat Trigger and replaced the original grooved one! A significant improvement! The original trigger, along with the original Uncle Mike's rubber grips are still sitting in the original box.

For what it's worth, that 60-14 got off to a bad start. On the 13th round the hammer would not catch the sear and lock back. It would fire double action OK but not single action. Long story short, it went back to S&W and it was 6 weeks and 3 days before it returned to me. Has worked perfectly since then. It is still my favorite.

K Frame- Medium 6/7 Shot Revolver
L Frame- Medium 6/7/8 Shot Revolver
N Frame-Large Revolver
Their are some other variations of frame sizes but I just wrote out the common ones.
Think of it like the Glock line up on the common calibers Full-Size, Compact, Sub-Compact.

The OP lacks a N frame to fill the "large" category. If you are partial to stainless steel, look for a 627 in .357, a 624 in .44 special or a 629 in .44 magnum. That leaves the blue 27, 28, 24, and 29's for me
We aren't even talking about the X frames, which seem to be popular among the masochist crowd. 
I posted a shot like that a while back. But 5,6,7 shot with 3,4,5, inch barrels!
