When the wife and I were in the grocery store today I noticed the cover of the NY Daily News. I could not have been more appalled at such a blatantly biased display from the media. So I took the time out to send them an email, I would ask that we all do the same. We need to let them know we are not going to stand for this any longer. There is no comprimising with these people, make no mistake, we are in one heck of a fight we can't afford to lose.

I would like to address your shameful coverage of the speech by Wayne Lapierre of the NRA. Maybe instead of raking him over the coals, you can actually look into his proposal of putting a cop into ever school. Why is that idea so radical? You mean with all the investigative reporters on your staff you could not find out where the money is for this? How about NASA, for the cost of the recent Mars rover how many cops could that fund? I am all for space exploration but we have more pressing needs here. How about President Obama's $4 million dollar Hawaii vacation this Christmas, how many cops could that put in schools? How about all the vacations he or Michelle have taken all together? How about drug testing the people on food stamps? I bet we could get a third of the people on it kicked off right there, how much money would that get for cops in school? I am no economic wizard but if I can come up with these plans why can't someone in Washington? Maybe instead of blaming the NRA, who does more law enforcement training then you ever fairly report, we can get the cops in our schools to protect our children. As someone with nearly nine years of law enforcement experience, instead of trying to drag honest gun owners through the mud, people who have done nothing wrong, perhaps you can find out why so many criminals get arrested for firearms crimes but yet are never prosecuted, something I have seen time and time again in my own line of work.
