My little girl is an Ensign!

I am very proud to tell all who will listen (or read) that my little girl just graduated from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy receiving a B.S. degree along with a commission. Grunts and cops aren't supposed to tear up, but... What a proud day.

Congrats 11Bravo, if you read an earlier post, my niece was commissioned an Ensign in the US Navy on May 9th at UNC Chapel Hill. I am sure that you are as proud of your daughter as our Lizzie's family is of her.

I know exactly how you feel because my daughter graduated from Navy OCS just over a year ago.
