called me today. "I got another 3rd gen for you".
This guy is going to put me in the poor house.
This time it is a 4506 with three factory mags.
Up until this point all my g3's have been 9mm.
He says it is spotless. I guess I will be spending more of the son's inheritance tomorrow. Damn.

I plan on leaving my kids almost nothing as I worked hard for many years to have what I have now. They can fight over all my toys if they want them. Most if not all of my guns will go to my one grandson anyways and my old Hotrod P/U truck will probably go to my son. My girls can figure what they wish to do with my antique cars. and pocket watchs.

I picked up the 4506 yesterday. Probably paid too much but I don't care. I wanted it. Took it home disassembled and cleaned. It is spotless with very little wear.

This thing is a beast. I havent weighed it yet but I bet it's close to 3 pounds with a loaded mag. Range this weekend. Good times.

We don't get any used 2nd or 3rdgens around here . I have picked up a couple at the gun show , but they are not top quality . The only enabler I have is another Forum member . We text , and at least a couple times a week , I get " guess what I found on GB." He knows I just love the 2nd and 3rd gens , he's even sold me a few . Couldn't ask for a better enabler , unless he lived near by .

I buy from a couple of shops that know I am not a tire kickers. They call me when they get them. Got a call about a CS45 that is supposed to be clean for 450. I am operating on a self imposed one a month limit. I may throw him a buck to hold it for me.

I tried to post a pic. Maybe it will work. It's a pic of the 4506 next to a 1911. Sorry I suck at posting pics. It has adjustable rear sight.

I started down the gen 3 road looking for a 5906 after shooting a buddy's. A year later and 6 gen 3's and I still don't have one.

Range Trip. My son and I went to the indoor range at the club today. The 4506 ran great. I ran it with my standard reloads. 185 lswc over w-231.

Very nice gun to shoot. Accurate, reliable, and a pleasure to shoot. I am very happy with the purchase and this may become my favorite.

Glad to hear the range trip worked out quite well with the new to you gun. Thank You for letting us know.
