My "Man Cave"

My first (maybe the best) man cave started wth a T hangar and one 1946 operable airplane, to which was added a second 1934 airplane in parts, and then a 1952 MGTD. But, those days are long past.

^That was my first. Here is my last before moving back to civilization. In the foreground is a visitor showing ovv the souvenir he took home from a visit to my man cave.

Raises a question that I ponder once and a while.......

In the peoples Republic of Massachusetts, your collection must be locked in a safe or some sort of locked room. How does having a bunch of your collection in coffee tables under glass or shadowboxes on the wall of shelves comply with an order like that? I often wonder while I'm discussing a given arm online with yawl and have pulled it out for said discussion, if the boys from the ATF or the MA equivalent came a knocking, am I going to acquire some new jewelry while being escorted off to the grey bar Hilton?????

Has anyone else ever pondered that scenario???

Confiscatory states must be avoided. Simple solution - move to a different state.

Need pictures..........

Sigh............okay, fine............ :D

There is a glare from lights and sun but you'll get the idea - and since this a family show with rules there are a couple of photos you'll just have to imagine:

Desk and fancy leather chair:

Closet with ammunition:

Since I live in the free state of Texas my answer to that is no. Massachusetts is different.

;)

My man cave/home office/storage area is an ever changing mess after 20 years of trying not to let it become a mess. But I can clean my guns, make new ammo, and check the internet and watch tv, all from my two chairs. One at my "desk" the other at my "bench". No pics. It's always a mess.

My room

Not a cave, just "my" room, my decorating and my mess.

No 1895 to 1965 in this pic, that's a 610-2 on the arm of the chair, was checking trigger pull on it when I took picture and forget it was there;)

Long Guns

Hairtrigger, I have to say your display of long guns has to be the depository of a big game hunter, also given your friends are hunters. I had a similar love of long guns; from the Hymn .375 H&H to the Swedish 6.5x55 Mauser. All with good German scopes, back in the day. Bravo to you and all for the super "man caves" shared in this thread.
