I had made a request for a price check on an 18-4
a few days ago, and the feedback and
information I received was really helpful
and much appreciated.

So with that, I would like to share the good
news that I just won an 18-4 on a GB auction.

It was $625+ shipping so pretty much in-line
with all the pricing comments I got.

Probably won't have it in hand for a week or so!

I'm posting a few of the sellers photos of it,
since I thought they were really nice.

Wow, that's a nice looking gun, the grips look fantastic. You are going to have so much fun shooting that piece.

Thanks rockhammer...when I ran across it,
the grain on the target grips sure caught my eye.

I like the fact that it is pretty complete,
original box, papers, tool kit etc, but it
has been fired (I don't think a whole lot),
so I do plan on putting a few rounds through it!

Awesome...If you are like most of us you will be contemplating a Model 17 next to go with your 18...He he..
Congrats!

That is a good price for one that nice. They rarely turn up in that condition.

Thanks, but I got the addiction pretty bad fast,
and I went the other way...

I got this 18-4 after I already had
a newer 17-9 & 17-3

Yeah, that one was on my watch list, but the price was a little beyond my means. Congratulations.

Is a 17-9 a blue full underlug gun?
I have been looking for a 4" 17-6 full underlug but they are harder to find than hens teeth.

The 17-9 that have is not a full underlug gun.
I like mine that way, but I really think it
just a matter of personal preference.
