Hi all,

It's been a while since I've had a large frame S&W revolver, but I'm back with a recent estate sale buy and couldn't be happier. I lucked out and the estate had 2 available, so I didn't have to compete much for the buy. The pictures don't do the gun justice, as what I originally thought might be some finish wear or scratches turned out just to be bad lighting, lint and uneven oil application. The gun is in spectacular shape with near perfect finish other than a faint drag line on the cylinder.

The box is in ok shape, though it's got some scrapes and dent's on the outside. one of the hinges is a little junked up and if you're not careful the lid will come off when opening. The tools are there and the liner is not too bad. One crack up by the end of the barrel, a little oil staining here and there, but otherwise pretty good (better than the box).
Under the gun try is all of the original paperwork that came with the gun, such as manual, warranty card, a few pamphlets on S&W accessories, another pamphlet for S&W knifes, and the original yellow retaining strap.

All in all I'm very pleased with the purchase and believe I will be holding on to this for quite some time :D
