BTW There's some nice looking Square Butt Combats in the classifieds..
Congrats on the 617..
I like a fool traded my 4" 617 No Dash for a CS-1 3"er a while back & still miss that revolver every time I got to the range.. I will find another some day in either the 6 or 10 shot cylinder..
The one I had was just deadly accurate with just cheap plinking federal 550 bulk but when fed match grade ammo would make groups that were so small that they couldn't be believed..
I realy miss mine & now know that was the most stupid trade I ever made..
Don't ever sell or trade it..
Get some combats & you'll be set for life..
The thin flat bottom K frame forcing cone on the 22 barrel is not an issue & should outlast your great grandson.. NICE!!
Loose the Pachmayrs

My 617-1 4" is my "go to" gun whenever I'm thinking about a trip to the range. There's literally nothing not to like about it. Congratulations on a great purchase.
