My New Year's Resolution

Pray tell.

What would make a S&W semi-auto not "appropriate for forum sale" ?

Did you acquire them unlawfully? :o

John?
   Maybe I should have worded it a little differently if you are getting that impression! :D

The few Smith & Wessons on my Willing to Sell or Trade list are simply more appropriate for local sale. Part of it is the "MA legal trigger" thang. Part of it is that I can make more net money (or lose less) selling certain of them locally. Part of it is a commitment I made to my preferred local FFL who has been great to me.

So nothing suspicious or illegal. :) When the time comes and if appropriate, I will post forum-worthy S&W guns for sale... but none are planned for sale in the near future.

To shoot more often.
Buy more nickel colts and s&w revolvers.
Thin the herd someday.
Buy more brass, powder, bullets, primers, reload more.

In 2017 I sold 5 and gave away 4 so I am quite proud of myself.
Meanwhile I didn't buy any more. But I did accumulate a bit more
leather.

Did the gun giveaway second year in a row...
7 Smiths laid on the pool table 2 days ago.
Oldest Nephew got first pick 6 others by age.
I can safely say I'm their favorite Uncle.
I am light a...
S&W 66-2 2.5 inch
S&W 19-4 4 inch
S&W 10-5 2 inch
S&W 67 w/SS sights
S&W 29-2 4 inch
S&W 28-2 6 inch
S&W 64-2 2 inch
It was great giving these to family.

All except #3 are worthy endeavors....

Barring economic necessity, the only reason I have to thin the herd is if I am not shooting them any more.

I'm thinking to roll over stuff I don't need anymore and use the money for nickel colts and s&w guns.
