I would have to say my nicest S&W 22 is a Model 18 with an 8 3/8"
barrel. For some reason I can shoot the m18 better than the same
barrel length on my m17.
It's hard to find a S&W 22 that isn't a nice one. Of course some of them strike particular chords in some of us. Probably one of the last revolvers I'd get rid of is my 1948 vintage K-22. I even have an old 1st Model 2nd issue that is a family heirloom. While it doesn't qualify as nice in the traditional sense, it will never get sold or traded.
