I have had a 22s for at least 17 years now. It is a great shooter.

This was 20 rounds at 7 yards supported. The yellow bullseye is 1 inch diameter. I think I got it dialed in.

Nice group....... you are "good to go" at 21 feet ....... but "Grasshopper" you need to stretch your legs and move back to 50' unsupported and 25 and 50 yds.

My minimum standard at our range is starting at 25 yards to begin with. Master that distance 1st in standing Freehand a lot before you attempt to go to 50 yards as it takes a lot longer with a handgun to really master that distance. Also a lot depends on what type of handgun you shooting at that time as well. Yes Ammunition matters a lot as well. We also have 30Feet boards for the beginners. Most of them just shoot the board up all over the place.
