Went to that popular sub shop today. You know which one...$5.00 footlongs...The sandwich was a little over $6 and I gave the kid a $10. He proceeded to put my change in the jar before I yelled an unkind word at him.
I aint tipping some kid for making a sandwich from precut lunchmeat and tossing some onions and lettuce on a roll. The waitress at Applebee's doesn't plop a tip jar on my table after bringing my meal and she does more work. She also has to share her tips with the busboys.
These fast food joints are entry level jobs. All of us has had at least one in our youth. We lived at home and were happy to have some money of our own.If you have a family to support you don't belong working in one of these places.
To this kid I say this...There are service oriented jobs that do warrant a tip for service above and beyond the normal but your's isn't one of them.Go cry to your parents!
Feel free to bash me guys...I'm not a scrooge...I just have my limits for how much I'll tolerate from ingrates.
