A certain someone *cough* ;) likes to bust my chops for referring to "real" ARs in the 15-22 forum. Well in fact I do (again) own a real 15-22 as well. Previously I had a very early model which experienced an OOB. After it came back from S&W I continued to have issues, so I got rid of the rifle. Luckily I didn't lose much at the time since they were still new and hot. Well today I went into my favorite LGS to BS and trade off an 870 express that I wanted to get rid of. Nothing was really catching my eye, until the owner made me an offer I couldn't refuse. $240 out the door after the trade for a 15-22 MOE. It is a DUU with blue springs, I know that's not exactly new stock but I'm willing to give this plastic rifle one more chance. It had better not disappoint again.

Luckily I had everything I needed in the parts bin to set it up exactly like my "real" AR. ;)

I got a DUU serial number MP15-22 last week. Ran 500 rounds throught it Saturday. It ran flawless. Gonna try my YHM Mite suppressor and some sub-sonics this weekend.:D

I have a DUU MOE, perfect function every time (well, it had an fte....once). Those AFG's are sweet. I got one on mine and love it.

Lots of great looking pairs of rifles on here guys. I shot my new MOE today and had a great time. And wouldn't you know it, Gander is running a deal on Fed champion bulk pack right now for $14.99 a box. I stocked up a little on 22 ammo, should keep me shooting for a long time.

I'll be going on my fourth bulk pack tomorrow at the range, really been enjoying the 15-22 again. So far I'm three for three on people coming over and asking me what I'm shooting. Most thought it was a 22 conversion. One guy said it "sounded really good", whatever that means. :D I ordered a couple extra 25 round magazines while Midway is still running their sale, and got ripped off, oops I mean had the opportunity to purchase a short 10 rounder from one of the online sites.

CCI blazer is the unexpected winner here on ammo. Fed bulk pack is of course shooting great, but with 3 duds. Not a huge deal in 1100 rounds, but CCI blazer has had zero through one 550 pack. Pretty decent stuff I have to say, good job CCI.
