My Shield won't disassemble.

My M&P Shield won't disassemble, the sear lock pin is stuck in the down position but slide will not come off.
Apparently the last time I reassembled it, the sear pin stayed down and now is stuck, what can I do?

I'm assuming you mean the sear deactivation lever (yellow lever). So you're saying you can't put a mag in it and push the sear deactivation lever back up?

Option 1: Assuming the gun is cleared with the takedown lever still down, gently ride the slide forward to the position where it would be in battery, then pull the trigger. That should release the striker and allow you to take the slide off the rest of the way.

Option 2: Still assuming the gun is cleared with the takedown lever still down. Keep the slide locked to the rear. Carefully remove the slide's back plate. Once removed, remove the striker.

If neither of those work. Explain more what you did, is this a new Shield or a used one (1.0 or 2.0). A few pics would help.
