i have had this sigma for 8 or 10 years, i really don't remember when i bought it. it has always been accurate and fun to shoot. i always shoot 165gr. but i buy whats on sale so that varies.

i had not shot this for about 2 years so i took it on a range day to shoot the dust out of it. everything went 4-6 inches low, 3 different shooters all the same result. different ammo's same result. i cleaned it and tried yet another ammo, 4 inches low at 30 feet.

what happened? i could put an adjustable rear sight on but what if it keeps getting lower?

Shoot 180gr that the gun was designed for. The lighter 165gr will shoot low by about the amount you are describing.

what if it keeps getting lower?

"What if I keep breaking down on the shot?"

That is the real question. The answer is you will keep shooting low with the heavy long pull, striker fired pistol.

did not try that. it seems odd that the problem just showed up after years of not firing from a rest and not having the problem. i will the next time i take it out.

i'll get a box of 180's and try them. it still is odd that nothing changed and there was never a problem with 165's.
