My solution to high gas prices.

Thank You. :)

Just realized that as of March 29, I've owned that thing 27 years!

Guy I bought it from said his teenage daughter picked out the color.

I get lots of complements on that color, but personally I would have prefered darker blue.

Guess I ain't going to change it anytime soon though, being retired and feeding that thing Premium gas, even on occasion, cuts into my ammo purchases.

Is that a '71 or a '72?

The extra money doesn't do you any good when the job is ripping your body apart.

I just walk out in garage a decide which way I'll save gas today lol

I was planning to retire this year at 67, but this inflation is scaring the **** out of me. We have a diversified stock portfolio ( which made us nothing last year ) savings, and my military retirement, no debt except a little on the house.
At an ACTUAL 10 to 12 percent inflation rate for the foreseeable future, we could be in a bind in a couple of years.

It has came down some.
Not enough!

That's it????

My old 2000 Excursion has a 44 gallon tank, and it's a diesel..... :(

I was telling folks recently that the highest I ever paid was $5.02/gallon back in 2008....

Well, had to fill up the other day and it was up to $5.36/gallon.... ugh....!!!!

I'll never get rid of the old girl, but she is eating a larger percentage of our food budget these days.... :)

Do you shoe your mule yourself? I haven't worked up the
courage to more than trim a hoof now and then. These flint/
chert rocks in NW Arkansas seem to do a pretty good job of
keeping their hooves trimmed. And my mules see zero hard
use, so no need for shoes. I do have a couple of old mule
shoes hanging in the blacksmith shop just for days gone by.

I just realized recently I've been retired from the fire dept as many years as I worked. I have saved a LOT of gas. I just can't figure out where I put it
