"Your watch is unreliable, sir. We missed the Andromeda Galaxy by approximately 138 light years."

If I recall, you either coach or ref younger folks soccer (football?) so I'm guessing you don't need the built in flop detector but will it flash yellow and red? Lots of info on that screen, I'd probably end up walleyed.

I referee lots of high school and high end club and the occasional college club level game . . .

Mine's a 26 year old Seiko Chronograph in Stainless. Only slightly larger than a normal watch, have only had to replace the seals once. It's a battery version, but it lasts for two to three years...

Have worn a watch since 1958 - appointments, meetings, etc. Have has cheaper digital for 15 years. Presently a Casio Solar 10bar Wave Captor with day, date - auto time check, light and bells and whistles I never use. About $40 3 years ago. Never have to reset due to time check with govt. satellite. But I prefer tools over jewels.

I have 2 Citizen and 2 Casio that are solar/radio controlled. The cheaper Casio I use for work, and it's going on 5 years of abuse.

It receives the WWV-B signal from Fort Collins, CO at 2am and sets everything. Citizen also makes some that pick up the GPS signal but are expensive.

My Casio Pathfinder is reset by . . . me.

Learning how to set all the functions raised my IQ a point.
