Loooks like standard military issue 38 special with 130 grain fmj bullet. The WCC headstamps are WESTERN CARTRIDCE COMPANY and the numbers are for the year produced. I am not sure who the manufactuer of the other rounds.

.38 Spl. Ball, M41. Shoot 'em up at the range, they're a wimpy 130 gr. FMJ, but the brass is finest kind for reloading. BTW, the TZZ headstamp is Israeli.

As lebomm said, TZZ is one of many head stamps used by Israeli Military Industries. There are several manufacturers of ammunition that replicates the USAF M-41 cartridge, there is little reason for any of them, and they are really pathetic as ammunition goes. They are loaded just heavily enough to make reasonably certain the bullet will clear the barrel of a revolver.

Thanks all, I put them upto some other 38 special and they looked close but the bullet looked larger on these than on the ones marked 38 special

Thanks again

In surplus ammo the number usually refers to the year it was made. So as far as it goes it isn't that old. I have a shot ammo that was more than 60 years old, about 90% reliable. Except for old 9mm Largo, I get a dude about every 8 rounds. Which is a shame since I really like shooting my Modelo Super A.
