N eed a Close-Up picture of Magpul QD Mount.....

I have tried several different mounts and prefer the slip ring on the tube. It allows all the different positions by adjusting the stock and with the varying weights of the firearms different attachments, optical, grips and tripods works great for me with the sling. Installing the Israel made butt stock worked the best for me + more storage and optional equipment mount attachment for future after trying the magpul. The Commercial Magpul was sticky and I chose not to open its diameter up, simply returned it and kept the Israeli one. I also found out the sling mount on the S&W stocks piece was very brittle and broke easily. I would definitely not trust the firearms delivered stock with a sling as the ring is like potmetal and cannot deform at all breaking into 3 pieces.

You might still consider gluing the sockets I'm. My brother came home from shooting his MOE missing a QD swivel socket not long ago. I drilled my standard and used JB Weld to a set of Uncle Mike's sockets two or three years ago and they are still going strong.
