N frame model 57 front sight height

I inherited a model 57 with a 4" barrel. The front sight is missing. Can anyone please tell me the factory height that is supposed to be on it?

Assuming it is a Baughman ramp front sight, it would be the same height as the front blade on a M29 or M25, as all three models have a heavy barrel and rib and front sight base that are the same except for bore diameter. The sight height would be the same regardless of the barrel length. I'm not at home at the moment but will measure the height for you tomorrow if no one else chimes in before then, as I have a 6" M57.

1st picture is to show that 4" and 6" barrel front sights are the same height. 2nd picture is the front sight of my M57. Looks like the sight post itself is 1/4", or .250" above the base. My M57 is an "S" prefix and the post is pinned, not sure if they're all that way or not.
