N82 Tactical

Just a note, I just ordered an original for the Shield, which will also work for some other guns. I'll let ya'll know what I think. Thanks for the inputs ! :D

Update

I got my N82 Tactical original holster today in the mail. I wore it today for awhile & I really like it. Very comfy with the Shield & I had no problems drawing. So far it is the most comfortable holster I've tried. Thanks for all of the inputs! As time moves on I will give updates.

I know this thread is old but I can offer some more "observations here.
I took a conceal Carry class the other night and several people had multiple holsters myself included.
I have 2 options that I used during class. My shield in a Stealthgear Onyx and a full sized M&P .40 on a N82 pro.
My shield is my EDC but I love shooting my ,40 and the N82 is very comfortable , so over a 4 hour class I did get to go back and forth between the 2. No problems for me drawing the .40 from the N82 pro but someone had a shield and was using the N82 pro and was having a lot more trouble than I was. I think with this holster, the bigger the gun , the easier it is to use the built in retention system. Getting a good grip and executing that "twist" seems to be a little bit tougher with a smaller gun like the Shield. I prefer the shield in my Stealthgear onyx for EDC , but when I do carry my .40 the N82 is comfy and works for me just fine

Just my 2¢ -- I have both and find the Stealthgear Onyx much more comfortable than the N82 Pro or any similar IWB (White Hat, Crossbreed, etc with stiffer leather backings. I have the White Hat and Crossbreed Supertuck for other pistols and wish I had Stealthgear for all of them, but money is a little tight to be buying more holsters now.

have you carried a full size gun in the stealth fear?
I am tempted to get one for my .40, but may just get an OWB Kydex holster (of some sort, I haven't figured that one out yet)
