Need ammo recommendation for 629 6.5 Classic DX

I don't think I am going to hold on to this gun long and I want to keep it in tip top shape. Any recommendations on some really clean ammo that's not going to break me,the gun or my wallet?

If you want to watch your pennies, the Blazer 240 gn JHP is very good ammo and clean burning, also its not quite full throttle so its easier on the gun as well.

I found some .44 Specials for $29 for 50 that I am going to try out. They are lead but low velocity. I hope they tame this beast down to around my 686.

I think in the .357 and .44 dept beggars can't be choosers these days.

If you plan on shooting a .44 any significant amount, you need to look into reloading.
