need expert advice

im talking to a guy that has a nice m66 he says the extractor rod is slightly bent, gun still functions ok he just says it hangs up a little,my question is,does anyone know or had any experience on streightening an extractor rod or how difficult is it to replace the rod? any input will be greatly appreciated..thanks in advance

If you are uncertain, it would be worth the money to have a revolver smith see what else is wrong (yoke?) There is a S&W Service center very near you in TX. Changing an ejector rod is simple, if that is all that is wrong.
