I just got a 1902 First Change that is missing the extractor knob. Anyone have a suggestion on where I could get the appropriate knob?

thanks,

The extractor knob on a 1902-1st would not be blue or nickel. It would be case hardened (looks rather gray) on a blue or nickel gun.

Another example of a gray screw-on extractor nob

Here is a 1902 2nd change with the grayish screw-on extractor nob.

The revolver has a round butt, so its some variant of a Model of 1902. The barrel has a shoulder on it, so its, at least, a 1902 1st change. It has the 5th frame screw, with the new cylinder stop, which is the second engineering change to the model of 1902. The bright stud on the frame indicates that it has the early lockwork, so its a 1902 second change.

Some might disagree with my naming and description of the revolver, but this is all correct.

Regards, Mike Priwer
