Need help Identifying a nickle 5 screw

I'm new to the older guns so I'd appreciate any help I can get on this. Serial number is 3203xx, number on cylinder and inside right grip match. 38 S&W Special CTG is markered on the right side of the barrel and the patent dates on top of the barrel look like OCT8/1901, DEC17/1901, FEB5/1906, SEPT14/1906 AND DEC22/1914. The nicle appears to be factory and the barrel is 5 inches long. Please verify the model and approximate shipment date. Thanks

It looks like you have a Model Of 1905 Fourth Change Revolver.These are the ones that are still fairly common today. I like the fact that yours is nickel.The serial puts it about 1919-1920,or so,if memory serves..

I have a similar 6-inch barreled .38 M&P, serial# 338008 that shipped 05/05/1920. Mine is nickled also.
Like yours, mine has no S&W trademark or "Made in USA" rollmark on it. I think the lack of markings was common during that time period.

Does yours have nickel-plated thumb-release piece, and extractor rod nob ?

Yes, it does, Mike. It also has a * stamp on the butt indicating it went back to the factory, I suspect it was refinished. However, my letter from Mr. Jinks indicates it originally shipped as nickle.
