Need Help Identifying Top-Break

Hi All,

I've recently come into possession of a couple of older S&W revolvers. One of them is a top-break that *appears* to be a .32, but I can't find an actual caliber anywhere on the gun. Here's the pertinent info:

1. TYPE: top-break

2. SERIAL NUMBER: 154790

3. CTG or CALIBER: Not on the gun, as far as I can tell, though the cylinder size and length make me think it's probably a .32 caliber.

4. BARREL LENGTH: 3.5 inches

5. SIGHTS: top-break fixed

You have a photo of a top break .32 Double action, either a 4th or 5th model, and a photo of a .32 Hand Ejector, Model of 1903, plus a butt photo showing a serial number 154790. Which gun is serial number 154790? Both guns were made circa 1905-15 era. Ed.

Hmmm. The two photos above are of the same gun. One is the full gun, and the other is the serial number from the butt of the grip. (The six-digit SN you asked about is from the top-break gun.) I did post pics of a hand-ejector in a different thread. I'm not sure if they're getting mixed up in Photobucket or not. Sorry for any confusion.

I think Photobucket mixed up the links. When I first looked at them, as posted above, I got both guns. The next time I only got the 32DA. Ed.
