Need Help with a 1911 rear sight spring replacement

I need to replace the two small rear sight elevation springs on my PC S&W 1911, 45 ACP, adjustable sight.

S&W will not sell me a set. They insist I send in the entire slide.

Seems I should be able to find a replacement set online, but I can not be sure given the descriptions I am finding on Brownells for spring replacements.

I am thinking it is this one:

940-036-390WB
Sight Plunger Spring, Rear
Mfr Part: 036390000

Does anyone know off hand which springs would fit?

Based on the spring measurements on the sight I have here, I found some stainless steel replacements at Lee Spring...

Dawson precision also has this service kit but I can't be positive it'll work without knowing the dimensions.

Mine just simply took a dump on the range. In the interest of full disclosure... no idea whatsoever of the round count before I got it, it was described and sold as a former range rental gun. Doesn't seem like a gun part that is known for failure, I suppose the most likely answer was a bad batch of small springs.

The majority of the adjustable rear sights used today are made by Kensite, no matter what name is on them. I feel sure the repair kit from Dawson will work.

These springs are the correct dimensions...
Kensight (R) 1911 Sight - LPA TRT Target Sight - Elevation Spring Set

The springs I have here are .200 long at rest (free length), .112 outside diameter, and .022 wire diameter, five coils closed and ground ends. Appears to be music wire blued finish.

The spring recesses in the sight are a 1/8" or .125 holes.

My springs just got to the point where they are not pushing up the sight very strongly. They sort of work, but I would rather change them out.
