I'm trying to remove the rear roll pin on an M&P Compact 9mm.
I started from the left side with a Glock Tool for a punch. After several strikes with a hammer the pin went in approx 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch, but the pin didn't move on the right side. I tried a few times lightly from the right but it didn't move.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Another question. Should the punch used to remove a roll pin be the same size as the pin or slightly smaller? Should it be flat on the end or slightly pointed?
