thanks for the idea, i emailed rock river lastnight. im waiting for a reply.
i think that even if it doesnt fit i may just trim down the side wrap around areas, i really like the rounded grip area behind the rails that is the main part of why i like that rail but it still has a good top rail for adding whatever i want

ok, got an email back from rock river today. the barrel and handguard i picked will fit fine together so im sticking with the car length bull barrel and halfquad rail
also my first piece showed up today, a rock river flat top upper!!
cant wait to get a few more pieces in and actually start assembly!!

went to my favorite LGS yesterday looking for a smith&wesson lower. they didnt have any but i ended up leaving with a nice YHM (yankee hill machine) lower that i got for an awesome price i coundnt say no!!
and it matches up perfect with the rock river flat top upper reciever i got.
next on the list will be a lower parts kit, pistol grip, and buttstock
