Need Pictures of how to set up the sling mount

I am assuming this is sling hardware but S&W Customer Service is a joke and wants to palm it off on a gunsmith. Anyone know what it does? It came with a Performance Center M&P10 6.5 Creedmoor HERE.

Can you take of pic of what you are asking about ? I went to the website but I did not see a sling mount.

I can’t make anything out of what you have there. Magpul is first class go to their website and get what you need of the M-LOK stuff and it will work for you.

Thank you for posting the pics of what you have.

I will do my best to describe what you have.

Top right is a traditional stud mount sling attachment.
The other 4 similar pieces are sling attachment options for the back of the receiver. They would mount between the receiver and the rear stock. You can swap out that piece depending on your sling preference. Bottom right mount does not have a sling attachment. I think the mount at 6 oclock would take a QD sling. The bottom left and top left mounts i think would use some sort of snap closure on the sling. It also appears that your stock has a quick detach mount, the round holes on the stock.

Go to the Magpul website and check out the sling section. When you are on the Magpul site, look at the M-Lok acc, those will fit your hand guard. That will answer a lot of your questions. Saying all of that, the Magpul QD system is super easy and will set up nicely with what you have.

There are a ton of options on slings and attachments for the AR platform. Enjoy your new rifle.
