Need some info on M&P 15A

My local gun shop has a M&P 15A model# 811002. I do not see this model in there catlgog. Is it a discontinued Item? Or mabe a possilbilty he gave me the wrong number. It has a 16 inch barrel with a folding rear sight. He wants about $1100.00 for it. Any information will be much appreciated, Thank you.

No longer in production...fairly comparable to this one, except this one has carry handle instead of a flip up BUIS.

They used a Troy Industries folding rear battle sight. The sight alone would cost over $100.

If you plan on running only optics, it's a waste of money.
