Does anyone know where I can get hand torison spring for a Model 10-6? I had disassembled the gun for refurb. and when reassmbling I am unable to locate the hand spring. Having swept the workbench, floor, and surrounding area with a big magnet to no avail I am looking for a replacement spring. I have determined that neither Nachez or Midway have them. Or, can anyone tell me whatt he diameter of the spring stock is so that i can get stock and fabricate a new one? Happy New Year and good shooting to all. Gunner12

BUT, on a 10-6 (old style) the spring doesn't "disappear". It's retained in the trigger with by a crosspin. If your gun has an MIM trigger (new style) installed, those do disappear into never-never land if you're not carefull removing/re-installing the hand.

Call the parts department at S&W.

Hey Mr. Shovelwrench:
- When I re-read your message, and understood what you were saying, I discovered that the spring was in hiding down inside the trigger. Was able to extricate it with a dental tool. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You. Sincerely, Gunner12
