All of my S&Ws have been pre-H-hole so this 432UC in 32H&R is a total unknown to me. Can't get a handle on how people feel about this revolver and really need your opinions on whether this a buy recommendation or a "run-away" suggestion.
-Thanks in advance for your assistance

Mine has been perfect as well. It's my daily carry now.

There wold be no way I would buy a gun in 32 caliber! I am NOT saying it isn't a viable SD round either, it is just a fairly new round that IMO won't be popular very long and will be hard to find and costly at best. Also IMO, the 32 won't do anything a 38 spl. won't. While the 38 spl. has been waning itself to the vastly more popular 9mm, at least there is still a descent supply of ammo available.

There have been many "Wildcat" cartridges that have come and gone and I for one do not want any part of them. Especially since they are nothing spectacular to begin with. Wait 10 years and good luck finding a selection of 357 Maximum, .30, 357 Sig, 41 mag, 10mm, 38 super, 17 H&R Mag, etc. It's one thing to pay for the gun - it's another thing to feed it with practically available ammunition at a price reasonable enough for you to actually practice and shoot with.

I have only read about them. From what I’ve read about the only thing people do is change out the grips on occasion. Gun writer, and former police officer, Rod Garrett has done a Show about them on Instagram Sunday night snubs. He has everything good to say. He also did ballistic tests with different ammo. He regularly carries one.

Don't get all bent out of shape about the lock ...

Mountains made out of molehills .

Turn the lock off and forget it .

They don't , or at least none of mine , have ever turned themselves on .

Do what you want but don't believe all the internet lock experts like what they say about locks is Gospel Truth ... it Ain't !

My 432UC has been perfect. I did change the grips. .32H&R magnum ammo is difficult to find, so I bought a set of dies and components are avaliable, so I reload practise ammo. This is not a new "wildcat" cartridge. .32 has less recoil for us older shooters who suffer with arthuritis. Mine has replaced my model 442 in .38 special.

I've had mine since 4/2024 and no issues with the gun. Factory grips are a great shape, but I really love the Crimson Trace LG405s which is what are on there now. I can still see the factory sights even with my distance glasses on, they are just great. To make the rear more visible against dark backgrounds, I filled in two of the middle horizontal rows with white paint.

10mm is fairly plentiful. I agree with what you are saying but 32 s&w long is fairly common and not ridiculously expensive which you can run in this particular gun.
Btw, I did buy a 327 federal magnum revolver because I like niche calibers but yeah I'm taking the plunge for reloading because of it.

Excellent gun in a great caliber, I have 5 32 mags and I usually shot 32 long 98 grain semi jacketed hollow points. I Have tried the 32 mag 100 grain hollow points and they are very manageable. I have both the 432 and the 632. I now have about 1700 rounds thru each and only thing was sight went out on 432, so I ordered a new one and changed it out.

632UC

I have the 632UC (Stainless with NO LOCK) made for Lipsey's in Baton Rouge. I use Hornady Critical Defense 32 H&R 80 grain FTX bullets. Great gun and shoots perfect.

I have been buying 32 long in bulk, but I do have loading dies and now I have some empty 32 shells to load and keep me busy.
For me, the only problem I see with the caliber is availability of ammo. I would love to see more American companies making it.

As for the gun.it is fantastic! My trigger according to my Lyman gauge clocked in at 8.4 lbs double action. I’m still not sure about the grips. I have another snub that has Hogue grips and I really love the way they feel. The g10 grips look really nice and are comfortable to shoot with but they feel a little slippery to me. Bottom line: it’s been flawless, it carries well and has become my carry gun.

Take a look at the review of the UC by Lucky Gunner. Also check out American Fighting Revolver's review. Darrl Bolke and Bryan Eastridge were two of the consultants on the project. It's a good caliber and in my opinion, one of the best thought out snubs of all time. The .32H&R mag has been around for a long time now and I don't think it is going anywhere soon. The .38UC is also a great choice.

I love mine. Perfect fit and finish, if a little dry inside. Great trigger pull, accurate enough. And, unlike an Airweight in .38 Special, it doesn’t have terrible recoil, and it holds six instead of five! I even got myself set up to reload .32 H&R.

I have the 432 and really like it. Recoil with a 38 j frame is bothering me but this little guy is much more pleasant to shoot. The only thing I don't like is the 98 grain .32 long shoots low, oh well.I see more j frames coming out in this caliber.
