They gave it some excellent pre-release promotion.
Tried to watch it on the release date.

Yeah, waited 2.5 hours for something to make sense. Kinda like the years 2008-2016.

Watched it Sunday night. One of the worst my wife and I have ever suffered through. Some parts were utterly ridiculous. To be honest my wife fell asleep four or five times. Don't waste your time. Two thumbs down from this household.
Yep, the old Bamster at work. I don't plan to watch it. The reviews confirmed it is just divisive drivle.

Go watch Sisu instead. Only 90 minutes. Finns good. Nazis bad. Finns win. The end.
Didn't hate it. Yeah, there's some obvious racism on 2 sides, but the 2 sides wind up working together. Seen a LOT worse..

I wasn't impressed. Such a good cast gone to waste on a trash movie that was disjointed and basically defunct of any entertainment value. I would much rather watch a Godzilla movie.

That goes for many alternative present/dystopian future movies. I read the plot synopsis on Wikipedia. Yeah, I see where the writer(s) were going with it.
Sisu was great! Highly recommended.
