Netflix Movie..Leave the World Behind.

Admittedly, it was confusing at times and some parts didn't make much sense. But I kinda liked it.
I think most of you simply missed the point. Its about how dependent we've become on our electronic devices and how shutting them down would lead to the collapse of society. A very valid premise in today's world.

The Teslas were crashing because they all magically turned on self pilot and decided to all drive the same route and did not not auto stop but crash. They made a point of zooming in on the wondow sticker that showed the auto-drive option. Um..no. The kid losing his teeth..and being "saved" by the prepper with magic pills...after the obligatory standoff of weapons. I don't even understand the shack in the woods at all. Pretty far fetched movie and was at least hoping to see Julia in her swim suit but nope! Waste of time. I watched the 1983 movie The Day After for the first time recently, and that is a good flick!

After many years of having netflix and watching the available selection dwindle to trash..I decided to cancel them today

Grayfox—After reading the premise I thought it sounded interesting too. I could care less who made it, I have neither the time or energy to vet the political leanings of those providing goods and services to me. Moreover, I was raised that another man’s political beliefs are none of my business, anyway.

I will check it out. Also I watched the preview on the Sisu! Any movie where a Nazi gets a knife in the head gets my vote!

I stayed with it, then I started wondering how they were going to end it because it was looking like they were just going to do a "mic drop". About 2 minutes before the end I saw it coming.

Gripping, but then it let go.

If you like watching bad guys bite the dust in a very violent way, Netflix has every Liam Neeson movie ever made. ;)

Saw an interview with the CEO of Intel today. He spoke a lot about their new AI chips for home computers that he claims will soon cause a revolutionary change in the way everyone lives, more so than personal computers and iPhones. I am more concerned than ever that all those electrons are plotting against humanity and will shut off all of our power.

I would beg to differ on your point that another man’s political beliefs are none of your business. That is a potentially dangerous attitude.
They are very much my business when their voting habits impact my taxes, gasoline prices, school curriculum, and Constitutional liberties.

Admittedly, I had high hopes because the premise of the movie has merit. Of course as the fine details emerged, it has become a hard pass in the kozmic household. I'll save the popcorn for something worth our time and with a bit less divisiveness.
