Hey guys I am a new member to this forum. I have been visiting for a while now . I am a lover of all things S&W but when trying to decide on an AR trainer, I had narrowed it down to the 15-22 and the SIG. This site really helped alot in deciding on the Smith. I drove down to Jacksonville Fl. to Shooters of Jax a couple of days ago to make my purchase however to my displeasure upon arrival I realized my drivers license had recently expired. I went ahead and paid for my rifle but I have to wait until Friday morning to pick it up due to a demanding work schedule. By the way the special price that they have on the standard 15-22 with the 25rd. mag and threaded barrel is only 389.99 by far the best I have seen anywhere.and they have several models to choose from. Back to the reason for my post I want to really trick out my rifle without breaking the bank. So please help me out with some suggestions on optics, lasers, lights, stocks, grips, rail gaurds, and anything else you guys have found. You all have already helped a bunch and further help would be greatly appreciated thanks a lot guys.

25rd mag, threaded barrel for $390? That's a great deal...

Things like this make me wish I wasn't in California...

If you're looking for advice on how to spend money for accessories... you've definitely come to the right place. :D

Welcome.

thats where i picked up mine. might was weel go to 44mag.com and order a fist full of mags. and start thinking of a case.

shoot the **** out of it. and browser through the pic thread IMHO most don't need half the **** on them, but at least you get an idea of whats out there.

*edit* really?.... that word is censored? wow

i put an nc star scope 3-9 x and shot it the other weekend at 50 yards and had a blast. Everything hit in the 9 and xx rings except for a few that got away from the booze shakes from the night before. I also added a grip with bipod fropm amazon for about 60 bucks or so i can set in on the table at the range. next weekend is the 100 yard range. I am just got a vortex spark that might go on the mp 15-22 or the new rainier ar i am awaiting. A scope just adds to the fun.

Thanks a lot for the advice guys keep them coming. For what its worth that price is not a special sale that is regular price. They also have 50 rd drum mags for $80 plus tax, for those of you who are able to buy them. All this is also available on there website as well. I went ahead and fabbed up a dust cover while I was at work last night but shh dont tell my boss all I have left to do is paint and add my spring and magnet and I should be done let me know what you think.

I painted the stock and the picitiny rail sand color tan, I also painted my mags tan. I then added a houge rubber pistol grip. Also added black rail cover, to accent the tan/sand color. I then added a night armament verdical grip.(i got that at an antique store for $1 US dollar) retails for 50. Im keepin the irons till i cant see anymore. I have decent eye sight. Im about $600 into the gun. the paint cost me $9.00 kryolon? paint. pistol grip and rail covers were $26. got it on amazon, free shipping over $25. 2 extra mags $48 dollars for 2. midway has them on sale $14.99 till the end of the month. wish i saw it sooner. Other than that, "if you want it" is a decent optic... Phil
