Was in the gunstore when someone came in to sell a finish challenged P&R 19-2 from 1966 with an original T-grip and aftermarket smooth grips. Told the store owner to make sure it didn't walk back out the door, even if that meant the store offering the guy more then store was willing to pay for it. Wound up getting it for $300 and everyone was happy on all 3 sides. Think it should make a good carry gun given the condition of the finish, but it sure is smooth..

Looks like a perfect carry gun, and for a perfect price too. Congrats!

I'd call that finish "character". At that price too, makes it easier to carry than a pristine one. That's what 19 snubs were meant for. Congrats

A Model 19 with a 2 1/2" barrel, shooter grade like yours, is perfect. It means you can polish it up and take it to the range and enjoy every minute. The guys and gals out there will admire it and you'll be amazed at how much fun it is. Even when it barks while firing .357 rounds through that short tube. And at $300.00 I'd take two.

Yep, I'd take it for $300 too. Good pull! I'd file this acquisition under "gun luck":)

I seem to have been on the good luck side for the last couple years.. I guess always in the right place at the right time.

Challenged finish just means this gun has character. Nice find, congrats!
