New 28-2

Great .357 !!

In my mind (its a small mind) if you paid under $700.00 for that M28 you did good. One cannot find a new made .357 anywhere for that price or less and with the quality that was put into that M28.

Now please understand, it is still probably possible for someone to find one like yours for $400.00. And for sure for $500.00. And you could have waited...and waited to find one for less than you paid. But would you have been around then? And as you waited for a better price, prices might well go up anyhow.

But again, nobody makes anything as good as a S&W made in the time period of that M28.

WOW, what a beauty you have there 442js. Don't you just love the two tone finish of the 28 HP?. I bet a 27 is soon to follow. I did it in reverse. I found a 27 and within a week I found this 28. Love those N-frame revolvers.

I didn't steal it, but I didn't get ripped off either. While I would have loved to pay less, I could certainly live with what I paid for this gun. I didn't underpay or overpay for this gun so I don't think I did that badly.

The 28 is great. I was looking for a 27 as well; however, a 27 in the same condition would probably have cost me $650 or more. That was just too expensive for me. I would like to get a good 27, but it looks like the 28's finish looks better/lasts longer than the 27. That means to get the nicely blued 27, more money will have to go out the door.
