Its on the way from Ivanhoe Warehouse in MA. Ted1trading notified the forum of 3 for sale. They were listed in excellent condition and they look like the last version made before the first TSW (without rail) run. I will post on whether they were as advertised and how they shoot hopefully this weekend.

I saw teds post. They are NIB right? Good score. Please post some pics when you get it.

I ordered one of these 3913's also. There is one left at Ivanhoe.

Got mine-couple minor wear points but absolutely immaculate inside. I will shoot it this weekend and try to post a picture. I am very satisfied i received what was advertised.

I don't think Ivanhoe Warehouse sells NIB firearms.

What they DO sell apparently is used firearms, whose condition, on these 3913's anyway, is advertised as being in "excellent condition"..

Don't think you'll be finding a NIB w/minor wear points, or a firearm with minor external wear but "nib" innerds...

Nothing wrong with buying a used firearm in excellent condition, I've done it myself, and recently, but "excellent, or Like NIB" is never gonna be NIB.

Not trying to start a war, just trying to get the record straight.

Ivanhoe sells police dept trade-ins and police dept surplus. So these are not NIB, nor are they advertised as such. But, some of Ivanhoe's "used" firearms may be unissued surplus and thereby be in excellent shape.

bb:

As I mentioned nothing wrong with buying a good use surplus police pistol. Heck I bought three CDNN Lower Saxony Police surplus "A" grade HK P7's several months back, and they were advertised as "like new", and while two were indeed "like new" one was actually NIB which surprised and pleased me..

Those P7's were manufactured in 1981-82..

Thanks for the compliment..

I've never fired a more accurate 9mm pistol than my HK P7's... Amazingly accurate..

No problem here. Clearly this was not NIB and it was advertised as "excellent". It looked untouched inside. I fired 275 rounds through it today including a couple boxes of Gold Dots(115gr's and 124 gr's) and about 225 WWB 115gr's. Thing was perfect. Carries great, shoots great. For $449 shipped it was hard to beat

Do you mind my asking what they were asking for the 3913's? A local dealer has two on the shelf, both for $499.99. One is a ladysmith and the other is in good plus condition but has been shot a lot. Not sure what the going prices for these are right now.

Marc:

I purchased my 3913LS NIB w/2 mags & lifetime warranty for $499.99 from CDNN a few months ago.

I believe shipping was around $20 and my local FFL transfer dealer charged me $25 for the transfer. No taxes involved.

That is one good looking PSP I guess. Your right they are inherently accurate! Barrel don't move. Some of the trade-in P7 wad a almost purple cast to the slide. No rust but purple looking. I have tried to out shoot myself with custom guns in PPC and can't get it done...Nice buy what ever you paid for it.

Some early P7's had the slides with the "plum cast" and from what I read the tint came from the original bluing technique which was not as good as the quality of the steel of the slide.

Of my three P7's one is almost blue, one slightly plum and one is obviously plum. I like the "plum" tint as it just makes the P7 a bit more unique to me.

The P7 pictured below was the 2nd I purchased from CDNN and came in "as new" condition.. I think the serial number dates from 1980-82.

Jesse

I purchased one on Gunsamerica and should be able to pick it up from dealer in about a week. Used but in very good condition, I had beeen looking for one for awhile. They have come on Gunbroker and Gunsamerica pretty frequently. i can't wait to take it to the range. I will get a trigger job done by S&W Performance Center.
