Just got a new Full Size 45 with Warren Tactical fiber optic front and rear sights and Apex Duty/Carry Kit already installed by my LGS.

Nice. I'm curious to hear your first range report.
I will definitely report back. I can't wait to get to the range. The trigger feels much better than my stock FS40 from dry firing. Not as smooth as my 1911 but really nice for a striker fire.

I too am looking forward to some feedback. I had my mind set on a FS 40, but lately been thinking about the .45. I'm a little jealous right know, but congrats on the new gun anyway.:D

How do you like the sights? Been looking closely at fiber optics...

I really like these sights so far. The red really stands out and seems like my eyes just automatically center it up in the rear. I would highly recommend them.

I have the FS40 as well and really like it and it is bone stock. The 40 trigger was good out of the box but the Apex Kit in the 45 is awesome. Also the 45 just feels better in my hand more balanced almost. And thanks

Congrats, I have one in black, it's not easy finding an IWB holster for them though.

The Apex kit makes a huge difference in improving the stock 45 trigger pull. That has been the number one complaint of the M&P 45, the trigger pull. For what ever reason, S&W 45 trigger pull design seems to be a much higher pull pressure, compared to the other M&P guns.

Finally went to the range tonight with my new 45. Date night with the wife. She shot the FS40 which is what she got after I got the 45. Anyway the 45 was awesome even though I only shot 50 rounds (Federal American Eagle 230gr) it performed flawless. Regrettably no pics but it was very acurate if I did my part. Will have to shoot some more ball and see how some hollow points perform before I consider it perfect but so far I LOVE THIS GUN!

2nd trip with new FS45. Another 50 rounds of Federal American Eagle 230gr I took a picture this time. Top at 10 yards bottom at 20.

Very nice, congrats! Your 20 yard grouping was as good or better than your 10 yard grouping! Nice!

I'll be replacing my Springfield XD in the future and am seriously leaning towards a M&P45. Posts like yours highlighting results like this really helps with the choices...

Thank you. The M&P 45 is very nice shooter with very manageable recoil.

Great shooting.
I think the M&P45 is a great gun, I love mine. To anyone thinking about getting it, go get it you will like it.

I wish S&W would also make them with olive drab frames....
