Glad to report that I am a new owner of a S&W 625 JM. I am an avid 1911 shooter and always wanted to shoot a revolver in competition. My bro-in-law has the same pistol, so I gave it a try. I fell in love with it right off the back.
Iam now in waiting for the pistol to get here and joined this forum to get the advice and info from other 625 owners.
I did experience a few light primer strikes on my reloads (200gn. copper plated bullet on top of 4.2 of bullseye with winchester LPP).
I have heard that Federal LPP are the preferred primers, check the retain screw, change out the firing pin ect...
What can of advice can I get from my fellow forum members on what to do to make this a fun gun to shoot...Thanks in advance....
