New 627 PC issue

So I've had my new 627 PC for a couple of weeks, and have really enjoyed shooting it. Was cleaning it this weekend and noticed that it suddenly seems to be missing the locking ball/spring from the front of the yoke:

Hard to see in crappy cellphone picture, but there is a single, light staking mark at the edge of the recess. When I received the gun (NIB) the locking ball was there... I've only put a couple of hundred rounds through the gun, of those, there were about 16 (relatively mild) .357 Magnum reloads, the rest were .38 Special reloads (also on the mild side) and a handful of .38 "mid-Colt" loads I've been working on.

Quick update..

My 627 returned home yesterday - exactly a one month turn-around time, including travel to/from Springfield. Looks good , now I just have to wait for it to stop raining to go try it out.

How nice of Springfield to fix your SW revolver! Their CS must be outstanding!
