"New" 686 at last...

I didn't have time to take a better picture but I am sure that one explains it .. :) :)
 
I would trade the 6 before the 4 but that is sentimental more than anything. I am a big fan of S&W revolvers but I think the L Frame is my favourite.

Having large hands. the only thing I needed changed were the stock grips.

Very nice 686 mate... I really like the looks of the grey laminated grips. I need to find a set out here to try them "in hand" ..!!

Thank you Andy. They are Badger grips if you're looking. The grasp is strong and very "comfortable" (hope that's the right word) to hold. (Grips 4 Guns .com)

love the l&n frames

here are my 2 686's first is a 686 no dash silouhette 6 inch i also have 5 n frames which are 2 629's a no dash 4 inch and a dash 1 6 inch, have a matched pair of 625-8's in 45 acp and a 6 inch model 28-2, throw in my new 617 six in 22 and i have a nice brace of smiths.
second is a orange county sheriffs dept no dash 4 inch.
