Ordered a new 9mm last Tuesday to replace the 40 I am selling. It came in today so I picked it up at the range and headed home to clean and lube it. Then back to the range and ran 100 rounds of 124gr Xtreme HP pushed by 4.4gr of CFE Pistol. I don't think I shot it much better then I did the 40 but it was far more fun. Good groups shoot at 5, 7, and 10yds keeping all 100 inside the 4" ring. I gave the gun a good check out while waiting for my back ground check to run field stripping it and giving the recoil spring a good look. I think I am going to be a much happier camper with this 9. I chewed up the 1" bull petty well but most shots were a inch to the left but I will work that one in the next couple days. Thank you S&W and Quantical Tactical for the good price and next day shipping. Don

I got mine 9 Shield Friday. Shot it yesterday and like it.

I got my 9 Shield last month and have been to the range twice putting just over 200 rds through it. Really like it but I need to work on trigger control as the last time I fired a handgun was in the Army (too many years ago to mention) :)

I've had my Shield for over five months now. No problems. Spent this morning cleaning five magazines. Can't wait to go shoot again.

Wish I'd had the same luck as you with Quantical Tactical but I really wanted the PC 9mm Shield but so does all of America I believe. I settled for the .40 PC Shield but have not had time or the weather to go shoot it yet. I will soon.

Still Searching!!

I have been hunting for a 9mm Shield for over a month and no luck so far. Dealer said they may have a few coming in this week and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they do and I can get to the store before they sell out of them!! Pray for me!! ;) :D

I've had both too and like the 9mm much better. The .40 is extremely snappy. I actually traded the 9mm for the .40.

I shoot mine both as the .40 and the 9mm. Beings 9mm is more new to me than any of the other calibers I own. My .40 groups are better as far as accuracy and time is concerned.

It just depends on how much u shoot it. Once u get use to the bigger calibers. Those smalls one dont seem to give u much of an advantage. Excpet maybe an extra round or 2. And in my case, as bad i shoot the small caliber. I'd need that extra round or 2 lol.
