Hi Everyone

I am a new member from San Jose, CA. I have become interested in S&W revolvers in the past year or two.

I got a C&R license and got a few revolvers

First I got a few Pre-model10 /Model 10s.

Now I am looking to try out my first magnum

I have so many questions/ I am so interested in these firearms. I do not know where to start

Welcome!
Perhaps you could start by showing us pictures of what you have acquired so far. We always enjoy looking at pictures around here.
I'd be interested in seeing what you have for "pre-model 10s" since that nomenclature is tossed around a lot and often the gun referred to is not that at all.
So post away.
You can also feel free to ask about whatever "magnums" you think you are interested in. There are lots of different items to choose from and you will get just as many opinions from the fine folks here at the Forum.
Regards,
Jack

ken p,
Welcome to the forum. I'm sure that you'll like it here.
I became interested in S&W revolvers over 40 years ago and the interest seems stronger than ever now.
Where to start? Why not tell us about your first magnum and, by the way, we like to see pictures.
George

Welcome Ken. There are a lot of great members on this site with so much knowledge about S&W guns. You have come to the right place for your questions. Good luck with any new guns you get. Ray

Welcome, there's unlimited knowledge available here but Dude they'll be merciless if you don't post pics...

You have probably found out already, Calif. does not honor C&R's without a great big hassle. That's why I am no longer there. When I got to Utah, I bought a class 3 Thompson SMG with my C&R. It is legal as it is a WW2 submachinegun and qualifies for the C&R. No need for a class 3 dealer. Welcome to the Forum. Big Larry
